About me

My PhD is in men's weight management, although I work with all genders. I hold a BSc. in applied human nutrition and I am a registered nutritionist (RNutr) with the UKVRN. I am also qualified as sports dietitian with Sports Dietitians Australia (SDA). My area of expertise is enabling clients to make lifestyle changes that match their nutritional goals. I am qualified in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural therapy. The psychological aspect of behavioural change is key when trying to make lifestyle behavioural changes. I am also a qualified personal trainer and have US and UK qualifications in this field; I have been a qualified PT for 30 years.

Services

Nutritionist - Consultation

This one to one consultation can be used for any aspect of nutritional education and improvement of diet for well-being. This may include stress management, weight loss, weight gain, increased energy levels, better cognitive function.

Nutritionist - Sports Nutrition

During the one to one consultation you will receive a full nutritional analysis and sport specific nutrition advice. This will cover pre and post competition/training nutrition. We will also look at your training diet and make sure this is tailored to your sport specific goals. You will also receive advice and information about safe supplementation to maintain and enhance performance.

Nutritionist - Weight Gain

During your one to one consultation you will receive a full dietary analysis. You will also receive advice on dietary changes required to achieve your weight gain goals. You will also receive advice on exercise programming that is in line with your goals.

Nutritionist - Weight Loss

You will receive one to one counselling, covering behaviour change for weight management and psychometric testing to assess your readiness to change. You will get a full nutritional analysis of your current dietary intake and advice on changes that need to be made to achieve your weight loss goals.

Personal Training - Adult

To accompany any nutritional advice a sound exercise programme is required in order to achieve your goals. This session can be used specifically for planning exercise programming.
